DAHLIAS CAPTURED ON FILM

I’ve recently fallen back in love with film photography after purchasing a 3D-printed large format camera from Intrepid Cameras in Brighton. Inspired by a fellow photographer, I’ve rediscovered the joy of slowing down and taking the time to create the perfect shot within the camera.

This process has led me to photograph dahlias with this beautiful camera using a 150mm standard lens, spending quiet, peaceful moments waiting for just the right light to capture these beauties in their full glory.

There is something about the grain and colour that you get when working with film—it just comes alive, creating a depth and richness that brings out the absolute best in these flowers.

All prints are available to purchase in my online shop in 50 x 60 cm, £375 each including delivery and are 1/25 edition.
